Contrasting Kitchen in Green Built Home

This crisp and chrome kitchen clearly captures the property’s outstanding water view.  An entire wall is exclusive to windows in lieu of cabinetry. The opposite wall artfully incorporates antique glass cabinets to maximize the water’s reflection. A Mise en Place prep station at the 48" double faucet sink looking out the large picture window to the grand canal makes meal preparation a
joy. 

 

Texture was paramount, using contrasting materials in every design decision.  Reclaimed wood floors contrast the white cabinets and chrome hardware.  Smooth white quartzite countertops contrast with the brushed titanium granite. Cocktails are essential, so a wet bar and wine cellar adjoin the kitchen creating a space that seamlessly blends from day to evening.  Cabinetry is Brookhaven by Wood Mode. The finest appliances were installed and objectively masked.

 

The wet bar has built in wine cooler, sink, beverage refrigerator and bar stool seating.
